Last weekend both my brother, Keaton, and sister, Karlie, were home from college for their fall break! Yay! It was wonderful to have my whole family together again- that hasn't happened in awhile! Thursday night we went to my parents for a delicious supper to celebrate Keaton's 21st birthday. Unfortunately, he was sick all weekend, so he didn't feel too well. But, happy birthday brother! You are the best. I love you and I appreciate all the laughs you provide. :)
Friday we hung out with some friends from our small group. It was a wonderful time eating chili, making s'mores, fellowshipping, and teaching more people how to play Monopoly Deal! (It's an awesome game everyone should play- we have taught many couples!)
Saturday we headed to Lincoln, NE to watch Karlie play volleyball. Sunday was Church, small group potluck, and my family came to our apartment for supper! (That is unusual- usually we go there.) I made my first batch of chili ever- I think it turned out pretty good for the first time! We talked, laughed, and played Apples to Apples.
It was a great time with my family.
And now, after a 12 hour day at work (my usual shift and then CPR/AED/First Aid training after that), I want to eat, shower, and watch lots of How I Met Your Mother (good show!).
