Italy 2026- Cinque Terre- Corniglia.

So thankful Kley and I could come to Italy for a week for a friend's wedding! We came to Cinque Terre as our first stop and loved exploring the different villages. The third village was Corniglia. This is the only village not directly on the coast, because it's set higher so there are hundreds of stairs to climb to get to it, but it was worth it! It rained off and on during the day we were there, but it wasn't too long and we had umbrellas so it was fine, but we had clear and bright skies in Corniglia!

I could have taken a picture of basically every single thing. Everything in Cinque Terre is amazing!

Kley talked for months before going about drinking some sort of fancy coffee drink at a cafe on an Italian street. He did it! He was laughing because it was an espresso and we never drink espressos and it was so strong and he didn't even like it, but it was worth it for the experience!

We don't drink a lot of pop either, but coke zero is so different from US coke- yum! And all the different fresh breads and sandwiches were SO good!

Italy 2026- Cinque Terre- Manarola.

So thankful Kley and I could go to Italy together for a friend's wedding! We stopped in Cinque Terre as our first stop in Italy and loved exploring the villages. Our second village was Manarola and it was beautiful!

So fun to not only be able to explore these unique villages, but also to be right next to the Mediterranean waters? What a win!

Italy 2026- Cinque Terre- Riomaggiore.

Kley and I got to go to Italy for a week- wow! What a special time and so glad we could go together. One of my close childhood friends, Stephanie, got married in Tuscany so that was the initial reason for the trip, and we added a couple towns to the trip for fun! Since we were already putting in the time/money to get there, we wanted to see as much as we could in our time there! We picked a few things somewhat close to Tuscany to make travel easier and to make the most of our time in the places we went. 

First stop was Cinque Terre and it was incredible! Everyone should go there! It was amazingly beautiful and so fun. Cinque Terre is on the coast and is comprised of five different villages. We stayed in Riomaggiore, which is the village most south, so we started in that one and went up north through the other four. Since we only had one full day there to explore, we decided not to book and guided tours and go on our own, so we didn't have to worry about having to be in a specific place at a specific time, and that worked well for us. We were our exploring the whole day, about 13 hours, but it was great and so glad we could see all of them! For timing, we did the shortest/easiest hike between Riomaggiore and Manarola, called Lover's Lane. It was so picturesque! For the rest of the villages, we used the train.

Thankful for solo time together!

Exploring Riomaggiore. This one was extra fun because it was the first. We got their super late at night when everything was dark and closed, so it was fun to wake up in the morning and see everything!

Homecoming and Scarecrow Farm 2026.

We are loving all the fall things! The girls enjoyed their homecoming dress up days at school and going to the homecoming game! Doesn't everyone love Kley's new school spirit overalls? :)

A favorite fall tradition is visiting Scarecrow Farm, a big pumpkin patch with lots of fun things in the closest bigger town to us. It was a sweet day, a day where Kley and I looked at each other and really treasured our family. Much to be thankful for!

Every year I try to do this crazy game and the best I have ever gotten is three pegs left and Kley comes over and tries it one time and nails it immediately. How did he do that? He really relished the fact that the game said he was a genius.
