Norah's 10th birthday- Schut celebration.

My whole side of the family was able to come celebrate Norah's 10th birthday! It was so fun and so thankful for our house that can fit us all and be able to all be in the same place! We all met here too so my grandparents could participate, since they can't travel anymore, so it was special that they could join as well. We also celebrated fall cousin birthdays, so we got to celebrate our two nieces too- Averie turning four and Margo turning two!

Walk to the park and a stop for coffee (meaning smoothies, steamers, etc. for the kids). Thankful for a special family weekend!

Norah's 10th birthday- friend party.

It was so fun to celebrate Norah's 10th birthday! She wanted to have a teal theme and decided to have a few friends over for a craft party at home. She opted for spaghetti, garlic bread, and carrots for supper with cupcakes for dessert that she frosted!

They did paint by number canvases and made bracelets at the party- they did great!

We also went out for supper on her real birthday with Papa, Amma, and Great Grandma De Jong and got special milkshakes!

Cheer camp 2024.

The girls got to go to a cheer camp at our local college for a Saturday morning and learn some cheers! They got to perform with the cheerleaders for the first quarter of the football game. I love that our town does special things like that for kids and glad they could participate! Go Raiders!

They all had a good time, but it's fun to watch how different your kids are! I think Norah and Ellory could have a possible future in cheerleading, but I don't think it will be Lucy's passion. She had fun, but was more interested in throwing the little soft footballs into the stands as prizes than doing the cheers. :)

Norah's 10th birthday- family celebration.

A favorite family tradition is to let the girls pick an activity and what they want for supper for their family birthday celebration, that's just the five of us. For Norah's 10th birthday, she picked ice skating and a Subway picnic at the park! It was a fun afternoon- so thankful for family time together and to celebrate Norah!

The girls did great! They all skated solo (without the kid walker things) and said they wanted to skate more often!

Happy 10th birthday Norah! We got to celebrate with the De Jong side and it was so nice to all be together again! We also celebrated Kley's birthday and cousin Gerrit's 3rd birthday too.
