Kley and I got to go to Italy for a week for a friend's wedding, and it was an incredible trip! On our way in between towns, we stopped briefly in Pisa for a couple hours to see the Leaning Tower and grab lunch. It was so fun to see this landmark! Fun facts- the Leaning Tower is a bell tower, and is one of three structures in Pisa's square, along with the cathedral and baptistry. It's known for it's 4 degree tilt, due to unstable foundation. It began leaning during construction in the 12th century. By 1990, the tilt had reached 5.5 degrees, and underwent constructive work from 1993-2001 to stabilize it, which reduced the tilt to 3.97 degrees. I didn't know much about it before going, so it was cool to learn that!
Had to take the classic pose!

It was fun to walk Pisa's streets for a bit and grab some pizza for lunch!
