Norah's Dedication/Mother's Day/Elizabeth's shower.

My first Mother's Day with Norah was very busy, but incredibly special. Kley gave me a foot rub and a birthstone of Norah's that we are going to pick out (we had talked about getting some form of jewelry in her birthstone to give her later in life). What a man. :)

This morning I woke up and Norah gave me a kiss. So sweet. We dedicated her to the Lord at church this morning, which was something I will never forget. She wore the outfit I wore when I was baptized on Mother's Day 26 years ago. How special! I almost choked up on stage during it. I am so grateful to be a mother and so blessed to dedicate her to Jesus. My biggest prayers are that she grows up to know Him and that He equips us well to teach/guide her in His ways. We love you so much, Norah! Thanks for making me a mommy!

After church we had a lunch at our house with all our family. It was special to have so many people we love all under our roof.

All the Schut's,

and all the De Jong's!

Also, we had a bridal shower this afternoon for Elizabeth! So fun to celebrate the bride-to-be!

Happy mother's day to all the moms out there. I have been so blessed with great influences- my grandmothers, my mom, my mother-in-law, etc. And this year I got to celebrate with my own baby too. So so many things to be thankful for!
