On our last day in Des Moines, we hit the zoo! We were waiting all week for the best weather day, and we nailed it because it was a beautiful day! Norah was so excited! Every year/season is so fun because it's like experiencing it for the first time since they grow so fast. Norah was so young when she went to the zoo previously, so it was great to experience it with her at this age.
She loved the fish tanks. She has never seen Finding Nemo or Finding Dory, but has seen things about it, so she shouted, "Wow! Look at all those Dory's!" when she saw the fish, and legitimately thinks the fish are called that. Too cute.
My mom is wonderful. She is an amazing grandma to me kids and we are all so fortunate to have her in our lives! Whenever we see her, she is incredibly helpful and engaged with the girls!
Norah had to crawl right in this egg, and posed for the perfect picture. Nailed it, Norah. (But, she is getting better at taking pictures, so I'll take it!)
She loved the kangaroos jumping around.
Watching the penguins swim. We also went to the seal show, and Norah enjoyed their tricks!
Lucy and Ellory did fabulous and basically slept the entire time.
Very thankful for warmer days, fun trips, and family!
