We got to have the best of both worlds this 4th of July. We celebrated in Sheldon (about 30 minutes away from OC) with Kley's extended family on the 3rd, and then came down to Des Moines in the 4th. So glad we got to celebrate with both of our families!

Unfortunately Kley took an elbow to the face during pool basketball and had to get some stitches on his cheek. Ouch!
Another unfortunate thing was missing fireworks this year. It was just too late for Norah, but that's okay. We got to light up some sparklers with the family, and the fireworks show had a malfunction and it wasn't very good, so thankfully we didn't miss much.
