BBQ pulled pork sandwiches.

Last night we made BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. They turned out so yummy! I am trying to branch out in my cooking skills and make some different things instead of the same old same old. This one is definitely a keeper. So good and so EASY! That's what I like!

I had seen a lot of blog posts and pinterest pictures of variations of this recipe, and none of them were exactly the same, so I made my own variation and it was wonderful.

Here is how I made it: (no pictures, sorry! I forgot and then when I remembered we had eaten them all up. :)

2 lbs. pork roast (actually called pork butt. ha.)
1 can cherry coke
About half a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
Some Lawry's seasoning

Seriously. That's all the ingredients. Awesome!

I let the roast thaw in the fridge overnight so it wouldn't take as long to cook, and so it would be easier to handle. I cut the big parts of fat off before putting it in the crock pot. Put the roast in the crock pot, and sprinkle some Lawry's seasoning over the whole thing. Pour the can of coke overtop. I poured some BBQ sauce in in the beginning, and poured more and mixed it in when done.

I cooked mine on high for 4 hours, then low for an hour (mainly because I wasn't ready to eat it yet but it was almost done). The meat easily tore apart into small yummy pieces. Drain the rest of the coke out, and mix in as much other BBQ sauce as you want.

Put on a bun and enjoy! I will be making this again!

(Also, just so you know, there was enough for the original dinner, plus three leftover lunches- you may have even more meals out of it if you don't have a huge eater like Kley. :)
