Minnesota lake trip with Schuts 2022.

My family rented a house on Round Lake in Brainerd, MN for a few days and my entire side of the family was able to be together! We had a really great time and so grateful to all be together. We got some special family pictures!

Entire family shots are my most favorite! We got some really good ones that you're going to have to imagine, because my mom wants to save the reveal for her Christmas card. :)

The house had a really nice backyard. We fished, swam in the lake, played in the sand, and had many rounds of catch and soccer in the yard.

I had no idea when the house was booked that it was so close to one of my college roommates! We got to reconnect with Kristin and her family and it was neat to catch up! She has three girls also in very similar ages to ours. We hadn't seen each other in person in years, so seeing her neck of the woods was fun!

We went to the zoo one morning when it was too cold to swim, and we loved it! We got to see many animals up close.

We got to feed the giraffes! Giraffes are my favorite and none of us have ever fed them like that before. What a fun memory! Their tongues are so strong and long!

This monkey was swinging like he was on monkey bars and the kids loved it.

This porcupine came up so close to us and everyone was afraid it was going to try to jump, it was funny.

What a fun few days together, so thankful for family!

We attempted to get a cousin picture in their shirts we tie-dyed while we were there, but it didn't so go hot as we didn't even get one with all six in it, but these two of some of the cousins were pretty cute!
