I read this post today called More of Them, Less of Me, from another blog I read, and thought it was so good. She talks about how the thing your kids need the most is just you. It sounds easy, but it's actually quite hard and goes against our sinful nature to continually sacrifice of ourselves for our kids. There are plenty of things in life to distract us, plenty of other things to get done, always a to do list filled with items, but I want Norah (and any future children we have), to remember that I was there and present with them most. Kley and Norah are the most important, and I never want to be too preoccupied with something else to give them my all, because they need it and deserve it.
